Dear GIS-IDEAS 2010 Participants,

I would like to thank all participants for their great
contribution to the success of GIS-IDEAS 2010.

The conference attracted 120 participants. 33 from overseas
(Japan, Germany,USA, Switerzland, Taiwan). and 87 from Vietnam.
It was nice to see many student participants from Vietnam.

Apart from problem with some authors not being able to
show-up for their presentations, the conference went off smoothly
with active discussions.

A 348 page hardcopy Proceedings was published. The online
version of full-papers and abstracts are available at
http://wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas10/papers.php?first_letter=all

The conference program is available at (some last minutes
changes are not reflected in the schedule)
http://wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas10/schedule.php

On behalf of the organizing committee of GIS-IDEAS 2010,
I would like to express sincere thanks to conference sponsors
and supporting organizations for their cooperation.

Many thanks to Hanoi University Mining and Geology for
support in Organizing GIS-IDEAS 2010 and G-COE program at
Kyoto University for organizing special session
*"In Search of Sustainable Humanosphere in Asia and Africa"
as a part of GIS-IDEAS 2010.

Look forward to your continued and support.

Best regards
