Dear Participants of GIS-IDEAS 2004,
I am attaching the tentative program for
GIS-IDEAS 2004 as PDF file. The online version
of the program is available at

We strongly request the authors to verify the program and
prepare their presentation schedule accordingly. Participants are
requested to let the GIS-IDEAS Secretariat (gisideas2004@pmail.vnn.vn)or
the JVGC Office (jvgc_office@gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp) if they have to
cancel their presentation for any unforeseen reason.
OHP projector and computer with MS-Powerpoint will be available
for oral presentation.
100x160 cm (WxH) panel space will be available at the conference
for each poster poster presentation. Posters should be on display
by the first conference day (16 September 2004). Authors must be
present at their poster during the poster session.
Final deadline for submission of full papers in camera-ready
format is 16th August 2004 (Monday). Full papers received after
this date will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Authors who have already submitted their full papers in camera-ready
format are kindly requested to verify their camera-ready manuscripts
at the following URL

Authors must strictly follow the guidelines for preparation of
camera-ready mansucripts. The guidelines are available at

I am attaching a MS-Word template for preparation of the camera-ready
manuscripts. Authors must submit their camera-ready papers in PDF
format, if you have any difficulty in submitting your camera-ready
manuscripts, please contact the GIS-IDEAS 2004 Secretariat
(gisideas2004@pmail.vnn.vn)or the JVGC Office
(jvgc_office@gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp)
Authors who have not followed the guidelines for submitting their
camera-ready manuscripts should kindly reformat their papers by
following the author guidelines srtictly and resubmit before
the final deadline (Aug 16th 2004)
We request you cooperation in bringing out the conference proceedings in
a timely manner and ensuring the success of GIS-IDEAS 2004.
